Overview
What this resource does
A zone-based weather and world time system for FiveM that gives the map more than one sky.
Each zone runs its own rolling, weighted forecast, so it can rain in Paleto, snow in the mountains,
and stay clear in Vinewood at the same time - and players watch the weather change as they drive into it.
Includes snow that lays on the ground, a full admin panel, day/night time scaling, blackouts,
and a drop-in compatibility layer so resources written for a standard weathersync keep working unchanged.
Features
Features Overview
Zone-Based Weather
The map is cut into weather zones, each with its own sky. Rain in Paleto, snow in the mountains, and clear in Vinewood, all at once.
Rolling Forecasts
Each zone rolls a weighted forecast from its current weather, so the sky develops naturally instead of teleporting between random states.
Snow That Lays
Snow pass, footstep tracks, vehicle trails, ice audio, rougher water, and the frozen Alamo IPL - snow on the ground, not just in the sky.
World Time & Day/Night Scaling
Server-authoritative clock with separate day and night speeds, manual time scale, freeze, and a city-wide blackout toggle.
Admin Weather Panel
Live weather per zone, an editable forecast timeline, force / skip / regenerate, and the world controls - all permission-gated server-side.
Zone Locking
Hold a zone on a forced weather so its forecast cannot roll it away - built for events that need the sky to stay put.
Weathersync Compatibility
Drop-in layer for resources written against a standard zoneless weathersync. Existing scripts keep working with no changes.
Developer Exports & State Bags
Read and drive weather per zone, per player, or map-wide. Other resources can take the sky for cutscenes or events and hand it back.
